Okay so Vampire Diaries Season 3 kicked off on Thursday. I am sure people have seen the promo’s but I must say I wasn’t expecting what I saw. The writers and director really did a fantastic job not to mention the actors. So the first thing we see is Alaric has been staying with the Gilbert’s. I think he really wanted to take on a parenting role which is good, but then he completely removes himself from the situation. And Matt (Alaric)’s new hair cut I must say he is looking more attractive. Then we have the whole Forwood bonding moment, I am hoping there is going to be a romance there in the future after all they have slept together, in a super hot sex scene. I love the whole Delena bonding moment over the necklace it was sweet, I think Elena loves Damon and she is just denying it because she really hopes Stefan will come back to her. Matt is getting Jealous over Caroline and Tyler’s close friend ship, I think Matt needs to get over himself after all he tried to shoot and kill Tyler and just messed with Caroline. He just needs to move on. Jeremy seeing his dead girlfriends. It reminds me of ghosts of girlfriends past, the reason he can see dead people is because Bonnie did a spell to make sure he lived, but since he died then came back because of Caroline’s blood he can see the ghosts. I must say the writers did a good job with that, it was a spooky scene with Vicki just popping up then Anna trying to touch him but Matt destroyed that moment. It is odd that Jeremy is working, maybe he is finally growing up. Klaus was up to his usual games. He is the puppet master and Stefan is simply the puppet. I love Stefan as a ripper, but putting the bodies back together like some sick jig saw is really creepy. Very sinister, and then when Damon kicked the girl and the head fell off. Even Alaric was freaked out. I was amazingly surprised at Andie’s death, it was unexpected. I like how they did it. Usually people die because of the vampires, or have stakes put through there heart or have their hearts ripped out. So a suicide compelled jump was great. I love the way she just casually walked off then landed on her face, and when Damon turned her over it was like all the colour had drained from her body and eyes. It was fantastic acting. Then the emotion on Ian’s face was amazing, he is a great actor. Then you have Mrs. Carol Lockwood darting Caroline??? What??? I was shocked, I hope Caroline doesn’t get hurt. I am just curious as to why she did it. Maybe she was mad because Caroline was sneaking away from her son. Then the emotional call between Stefan and Elena even though it was one sided. I was shocked that Damon was actually trying to find his brother and hid it from Elena. I thought Damon would just let Stefan go so he could get close to Elena. It is good to see the nice side of Damon. So overall it was a fantastic start to the season. I can’t wait for episode two.
